PROTECT MEDICAID AND SNAP

MEDICAID & SNAP ARE IN DANGER!

On May 22nd, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a federal budget that will devastate the lives of millions of families, including many right here in Tennessee. The budget slashes funding for Medicaid (“TennCare” in Tennessee) and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly known as “food stamps”), crippling those programs and using the savings to pay for the big tax cuts. The budget now moves to the Senate.
