Rodrick Holmes
Rodrick D. Holmes is a Partner in the Labor and Employment Practice Group in the Memphis office of Reifers, Holmes & Peters LLC. His practice focuses on labor and employment litigation, advice and counseling, union negotiation/arbitration, and defense of railroads in FELA claims.
Rodrick has experience representing clients in federal and state courts on matters related to Federal Employers’ Liability Act, Title VII, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), workers’ compensation, and restrictive covenants. Rodrick also represents clients before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Department of Labor.
Representing individuals and employers, Rodrick negotiates, drafts, and evaluates employment, non-compete, and related agreements. He also advises clients on developing personnel policies and handbooks, terminating employees, and providing guidance on the interpretation and implementation of Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and Memorandum of Understanding issues in the workplace.
Rodrick also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Arkansas School of Law, Fayetteville.
