We are currently seeking interns to provide direct assistance to TJC’s casework team as they respond to the needs of individual clients. Responsibilities include fielding calls from clients, drafting documents, performing intake interviews, and learning about health and nutrition policy. This internship provides you valuable practice experience interacting with clients and governmental agencies. In addition, you will gain extensive knowledge about Tennessee’s Medicaid law.

As a casework intern you will have the opportunity to work your own case under the supervision of TJC’s advocates and/or attorneys. This is an ideal position for law students, recent graduates or undergraduate students that are interested in law and/or public health. This position requires 20 hours a week, with 10 hours in-person between Tuesday - Thursday.
