These fearless fighters embody a commitment to the same mission that TJC has believed since 1996: that all our neighbors deserve the opportunity to thrive and that our laws, policies, and programs should be protected and improved to reflect these shared beliefs.

OUR EVENT COMMITTEE
TJC’s Event Committee is a team of 8-10 creative and enterprising volunteers to help us fundraise for our annual Hall of Fame Gala, which honors incredible, inspiring leaders and raises funds to further TJC’s critical work on behalf of vulnerable families.
Your commitment would consist of attending six (6) virtual meetings between June and October, independently promoting the event between meetings, and potentially helping on the day of the event. The Event Committee will assist with recruiting influential host committee members, soliciting event sponsors, generating word-of-mouth to sell tickets and tables, and helping with things like name tags and day-of logistics.
We are currently looking for event hosts to help us celebrate and support TJC’s work for Tennessee families by joining TJC’s 2024 Hall of Fame Event Committee.
2023 GALA HIGHLIGHTS
TJC celebrated our Annual Hall of Fame Gala at City Winery by honoring visionary leaders who have seen the organization through many years, in particular the past few years of our Forever Home, and remain some of the greatest champions of health equity and access in our state.
Hundreds of friends and leaders from all over the state of Tennessee came and tuned in on October 26th, 2023, to support the mission of the Tennessee Justice Center and to celebrate our 2023 Honorees: Deborah Farringer, Nate Gilmer, Charles Key, and Monica Mackie. These fearless fighters embody a commitment to the same mission that TJC has believed since 1996: that all our neighbors deserve the opportunity to thrive and that our laws, policies, and programs should be protected and improved to reflect these shared beliefs.
Thanks to generous event sponsors, ticket holders, and donors, TJC netted $100,000 to support our life-changing work for justice!
