Rev. Kaki Friskis-Warren
Kaki has spent her entire ministry supporting parents and strengthening vulnerable families. She has led innovative and creative efforts to reintegrate offenders into their families. Her leadership of Renewal House enabled women to conquer their addictions and become the nurturing mothers they always longed to be. As executive director of the Dan and Margaret Maddox Charitable Fund, Kaki is currently guiding a major philanthropy that makes strategic grants to improve the lives of children and youth. While doing these important jobs, Kaki has for many years also played a critical role behind the scenes at TJC. A gifted administrator and social entrepreneur, she has given TJC hundreds of hours of mentoring on management, fundraising and team building. Her generous wisdom and tough love got TJC through difficult times and made us stronger, more effective advocates for Tennessee’s children.
