TAKE ACTION

Your health matters and so does your vote! Elected officials shape healthcare access and costs. Make your concerns a priority by exercising your right to vote.

MEDICAID & SNAP ARE IN DANGER!

A budget plan with deep tax cuts will be adopted in the early part of 2025, possibly as early as January. But leaders are already developing the plan right now. To pay for those tax cuts, they intend to slash Medicaid (“TennCare” in Tennessee) and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly known as “food stamps”). If that budget includes cuts to Medicaid and SNAP as leaders plan, Congress will likely cripple those programs and use the savings to pay for the big tax cuts.

Tell Congress that you stand with the 71% of voters who want to maintain Medicaid as it is, and the majority of voters who want to protect SNAP!

ENSURE TENNESSEANS MAINTAIN ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE COVERAGE

Email Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty and tell them to act now to ensure Tennesseans continue to have access to good quality, affordable health coverage after the Public Health Emergency ends.

EXPANSION JUST GOT BETTER!

The TN legislature should take the nudge from the American Rescue Plan, and expand Medicaid. The deal just got even sweeter for states!

HEALTH EQUITY

Commit to work for health justice so that everyone has access to quality, affordable health care.

WE WANT TO HEAR YOUR STORY

CLOSE THE COVERAGE GAP

ALL TENNESSEANS deserve healthcare. Take action if you agree!

SUPPORT PEOPLE WHO NEED HOME CARE

The version of the Build Back Better Act that the House passed last November includes $150 billion to expand affordable home care. The Senate needs to pass a modified version of BBB and it should include funding for home care, so that hundreds of thousands of seniors and people with disabilities who have been waiting can receive the care they need to live safely in their homes.
