John Elliott

John is a native Tennessean, born and raised in Chattanooga. John is a graduate of Sewanee: The University of the South, with a major in Spanish and a minor in business. After working as a casework intern for the Tennessee Justice Center during the summer of 2023, John has now returned to work full-time as a Melkus Fellow!

In his free time, John likes to play fetch with his black lab Atticus, learning new instruments, and taking advantage of all the live music that Nashville has to offer! You can reach John at jelliott@tnjustice.org.
