Katherine Zelaya

Katherine is originally from Chelsea, Massachusetts, a city just outside of Boston. Katherine is a recent graduate of Sewanee: The University of the South, where she majored in Environment and Sustainability and minored in both Politics and International and Global Studies. She has experience with community organizing and outreach, working as a youth organizer and at an urban farm. Katherine is passionate about environmental, food and health justice. In her free time, she likes to explore Nashville and go thrifting.

Katherine is excited to serve the Tennessee community in her new role as an Insure Our Kids (IOK) Client Advocate with the Tennessee Justice Center!
